Are there overpayed people in the corporate office world.?
I ask because sometimes I visit my step dads job, he works as an elevator operator/maintenance. I see these men and women who make 4 or 5 times what he makes a week and I sometimes I want to ask them what do you do up in that office that makes you earn more in a week than my step dad in a month. I know they would be no building to maintain without their intelligence but are they still over payed.
IT ALL DEPENDS-----IF ANYONE COULD DO THERE JOB JUST AS GOOD OR BETTER THAN THEM-------THEN YES THEY ARE OVERPAID , BUT , IF THEY ARE THE BEST THE COMPANY CAN GET AND THEY ARE ABLE TO MAKE A BIGGER PROFIT THAN ANYONE ELSE --------NO --THEY ARE WORTH WHAT THEY ARE PAID -------AND MANY ARE UNDERPAID .

From the point of view of a street passerby, your door or your garage doors comprise the first forty percent of their impression about your house. You can expect this more if you have the latest style in your garage design. Other than the more appealing finish, a garage door mounted by a professional is less troublesome and will last for a protracted period. As the largest moving object in the home, it is a force to be reckoned with.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission has a litany of reports related to garage doors like grasped, squeezed and eliminated fingers, squashed pets, and hurt children. You can be sure of a trouble free garage door and opener operation if you have followed the recommended installation, operation, maintenance and schedule of evaluation.
If you cannot find either, call the fabricator or any installation expert in your place for maintenance and operation purposes. Replacement manuals often can be ordered if the make and model numbers are available. You may perform a do it yourselfer on simple and basic stuff anytime, like a roller replacement, but leave the difficult ones to the qualified garage door service technician.
The elastic coils and other similar hardwares are in a lot of stress and may be the source of accidents when used incorrectly. Rollers, recoil, juncture and tracks need regular cleaning and oiling. The soot that you will see in the rollers and tracks should be removed using a grease cutting solution. Lubricate the track and rollers using spray silicone, lightweight household oil or white lithium grease to prevent squeaking and sticking.
Assure that the hinge pins are adequately oiled and that the nuts and bolts are secure. The uncovered parts of wood or metal should be painted and the condition of the weather stripping should be checked as well as the base of the door which should always be kept dry. For illustration purposes, a south bound metal door will grow in size as the heat increases which may then be an indication for adjustment of the track farther out from the garage.
The track may even need some slight expansion so that the door that has swollen will fit. In cold and wet weathers, the wood will be thicker and hot weather will become thinner. As you readjust the track, consider this always. A lot of garage doors come with a lock bar. When the lock bark is in its proper place in relation to the strike opening, locking of the door will be simpler. When it does not glide well along the threshold, you may undo the screws attaching the bracket to the door, reposition and then retighten.
Routinely assess the balance of the door, first while the door is not yet opened. Separate the automatic opener release system and manually control the door. The lowest point it can remain open should be about 3 to 4 inches measuring from the floor. Immediately call a professional to adjust its balance if it does not.
