Absolutely.....

I learned about this years ago when I first got saved and I have tried very hard to live by it....along with everything else I have learned from God's Word...and that is what we speak...especially when satan is coming against us in one way or the other.....and especially idle words
like "oh, this is just KILLING me..." or "I'm AFRAID not" or "That just scared me to DEATH..." or when people use God's name as an idle expression, just because "everyone else" does it and they don't mean anything by it....people say, "I swear to God" just as an expression.
I know...because before I got saved, I used to say "oh God" and such
as well...just like the rest of the world does, without thinking or caring,
but Jesus says that we will be judged by every idle word that
we speak.... See Matt.12:36

In psalm 103, it says the angels harken to God's Word to perform it
and in Hebrews, it says that Jesus is the High Priest of our confession
and what we are to confess IS the Word of God..over whatever we are
facing in life, like sickness....We confess that BY HIS STRIPES, WE ARE HEALED..and NOT, "I'm so sick I could just die!" even when we FEEL totally miserable and it doesn't have to be a serious health prob-lem. When fear comes, get out ps. 91...When someone or something causes pain or some kind of threat, go to Is.54:17...When satan starts
to impugn your very salvation, go to John's gospel....AND also to Ex.
12:13....That has become my very special verse....Satan cannot stand
against the BLOOD or the WORD......and Jesus IS the LIVING WORD
OF GOD, so why would we NOT want to speak and use His Word against satan, just as Jesus Himself did....The Word of God IS the sword of the spirit...We wrestle NOT against flesh and blood....when coming against all of the garbage that satan is pulling in the world, like islamic terrorism and the taliban to name one....We are to speak the WORD OF GOD and not our opinions or feelings or ideas....and also plead the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB over our own lives and the lives of our loved ones and friends and pray for the unsaved, using the WORD OF GOD against the lies of satan that are keeping the lost from coming to faith in Jesus for their eternal salvation....
