English grammar!Help needed with introductory paragraph of formal letter!?
I have to write an English formal/busimess letter for school to the Child Protection Unit regarding a boy,Conradin,who is treated badly by his guardian.This my introductory paragraph:
The intention of this letter is to invoke an active response from the Child Protection Unit services with regards to the welfare of Conradin;as his unsatisfactory circumstances suggest otherwise.
Corrections in grammar and/or a correct rendition of the introduction would be HUGELY appreciated!
Dear Sir/Madam
I write this letter to request an immediate, active response from the Child Protection Unit in respect of a young boy by the name of Conradin. He is being maltreated and is in dire need of your intervention.
