A bit about what I can do for you.

I’m a creative OG. Bringing you 20 years of conceptual and strategic muscle.

A creative eye trained to bring to life words and ideas from unexpected connections, prompt free. I use AI for the grit, not the thinking, really comfortable to wade through the syrup and work it out, to get it right.

I land big, brand-defining platforms, lead integrated campaigns and partnerships from first scribble to launch, and move strategy into beautiful words and useful stories.

 3 things I'm great at. (Beyond the humble brag)

·      Women's Sport. And sport in general. Playing. Watching. And loving the power of what it can achieve.  

·      Branding, TOV and Positioning. Let’s get into it.  Diving in, sharpening, pressure testing and surfacing with a purpose and a personality.

·      Helping zzzzz brands find a voice. From tyres to paintbrushes to work browsers to insurance. They all deserve their moment in the sun.

Things I do for myself

I read. A lot. I’m a mum and a fighter to end Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
I build crazy toys for my cats. Streaming series with red wine makes me very happy, as does showing the world to my son. I’m writing a book about growing up in South Africa during apartheid; and I recently fractured my wrist attempting to cycle 300km London to Paris in 24 hours.

My background
My creative agency life began in South Africa and did my toddler copy years at TBWA and JWT in Cape Town. In London, I’ve worked perm and freelance all over from DDB and Elvis to charity, sports, startups and every kind of agency in between. (There was even one place where finance sat in a cupboard. True story.) In a team or solo is all good for me although when it comes to ideas, I believe two brains are better, and more sociable than one.

 Over the last 5 years, I’ve been Head of Copy, leading and running client projects, new business pitches and agency marketing; as well as helping to manage the creative department. I’ve also headed up the internal culture, social and diversity programmes as part of the leadership team and mentored women in the wider agency.
